murder(?): megumi gets murdered k??inda early?? in the dangan ronpa killing game?? i haven't gotten an exact timeline set up or anything but seeing as her death consequently causes 3 other people to die there'd,, def have to be a few people alive for that!!! >:"^u
but what happened was,,!! in the days proceeding the murder, several things happened!!!! the first event was triggered by megumi,, h,,havin sex w/ her boyfriend sora (the ultimate pilot) in the bathrooms!! fkcin,, classy i know :^((
but what happened was that momoko naomi (the ultimate journalist and professional yandere) actually,, saw the two of them in the bathroom!! and momo kinda has,, a huge crush on sora!! a rly nasty crush on sora!!! a sorta "hey i rly wanna off your girlfriend so i can be with you <:^)" kinda crush!!!!! ,,she has,,,,, literally n o chance w/ sora but nonetheless she persists!!! >:"^3
so,, after finding out about megumi and sora's lil escapade, momoko fakes a sex tape of megumi and kazuya yamashita (the ultimate cheer captain) and gives it to sora. after hearing the audio (there wasn't any video thatd b uh,, a lil too hard to fake considering the lack of resources >:"^u) sora likely became saddened,, enraged,, in general just!! hella upset!!! to the point that he,, prolly socked kazuya right in his face!!!! bc in his mind dude fricked his girlfriend!!! wthECK!!!! >:"^CC
everything simmers down though once someone breaks up the fight and gumi and kaz do their best to explain that theyd,,, never have sex ever!!! mainly bc kaz is heckin gay!!!! (fr @ sora >:^(() and things kinda,, return to normal after everyone kisses n makes up. thats,, not to say that sora was 100% over this though!! he definitely wasnt but,, im sure he pretended like he was,,!! >:"0
and so,, nothing happens for abt,, a day i'd say!! but the night before her murder megumi was spending the night in her best friend darius mcfeely's dorm room!!! m,,ainly bc she was afraid of getting killed but,, d,,dang,, a girl aint gonna lie if she likes 2 cuddle!!! <_<;; and,, rly for pretty much the whole time she'd been with darius!! and hadn't seen her boyfriend sora or,, anyone else at all besides him!! (this is important later ;3c) the morning following her sleepover with darius she got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day!!! u,,unfortunately tho she made the mistake of going alone and,, momoko just kinda,,,,, j,,umped her!!!
and after that gumi was likely knocked out and taken to an isolated room, where momo had all of her tools and equipment set up for her killing!! she had megumi bound by the wrists and ankles to a chair (likely from the cafeteria) and proceeded to torture her. she began with little things, like removing megu's accessories, snipping her hair, etc etc- but then she began using several different weapons and objects to stab megumi in,, several different places,,!! she cuts off her fingers (so sora can't hold her hand anymore), removes her eyes (which sora lovd to gaze into!!!), and makes several slashes on megumi's arms and thighs (in mockery of the scars she bears from self-harming when she was younger). momo also,, mutilates megumi's genitalia,,, starting by penetrating with her fingers but then going to horrific lengths in trying to shove the end of a hockey stick and even a knife inside of megu's body,,, :"^((
eventually,, megumi dies from blood loss after being stabbed over 300 times!! bBUT HOL UP!!!!! MOMOKO-CHAN AINT DONE YET!!!!!!! >:"^DD
the ultimate journalist proceeds to slice up her body, severing her arms and legs at the elbows and knees respectively,, and also!! saws her right in half!!!! just!! just cuts her up!!! right in two!!! and before spreading out her body parts, momoko strips megumi of her bloody clothes, tossing them off to the side- save for her red bow and hair buns, which will be given to sora (along with a full recording of megumi's torture and murder).
momoko evacuates the scene as soon as she's done positioning megumi's body for discovery, and cleans up as much of the evidence that she can, most likely finding some place to dispose of them or hiding them in her dorm room. a couple hours later, gumi's body is found by,, literally everyone exCEPT sora (bc dude was out lookin for her!! seein as none of the other students had seen her >:"^u), but when sora does finally find where everyone had gone and sees megumi's body he,, more or less descends into madness p quick!!
the events that follow this include (in order): sora suspecting darius of killing megumi n thusly beating his face in -> monokuma offering sora a deal where, if he can find out who killed megumi and successfully kills them, he'll get to see her again + sora accepting the offer -> momoko delivering a vcr tape to sora's dorm room that has the entirety of megumi's torture recorded on it -> sora almost,, immEDIATELY realizing that momoko did all of this after watching said tape -> sora luring momoko into his room and smothering her with a pillow -> momoko pleading with sora to mCFRICKIN CHILL BC THIS WAS ALL KAORU'S IDEA (kaoru ueda is the shsl psychologist and is!! actually the mastermind behind all the murders that occur during the killing game (besides his own of course)!!! p,,prolly,, prolly shoulda mentioned that before >:"^u) -> sora thusly going after kaoru -> darius strangling sora to death bc kaoru told him he was worried about sora attacking him >;"^D -> and finally!!! darius getting executed for his crime
